He is considered an exceptional classic dancer and an excellent partenaire with a magnificent and power stage presence. He leads a meteoric career and shares billing for six years with Prima Ballerina Alicia Alonso in the performance of the main roles of classic repertoire such as: Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quichote, Romeo and Juliet, Edipus Rey, among others. Among other international awards he has obtained the Gold Medal in the Ballet Competition in Trujillo, Perú (1988), Honor Diploma at the Varna Ballet Competition, Bulgaria (1988); The Medal of the MIN(1991). perform the main roles in his choreographic versions of Coppelia, Nutcracker, Le Jeune Homme et La Mort, Pink Floyd Ballet, Il Gattopardo, Meditation de Thaïs de “Ma Pavlova”, La Prisonniére de “Proust: Les Intermittences du Couer”, among others.
